The area around Tromsø Villmarkssenter offers a wide range of hiking possibilities by snowshoes. On this trip, we’ll explore Kvaloya, Norways fourth largest island only 25 minutes from Tromsø city centre, and hopefully, see some of the arctic wildlife during our trip out into the wild. Once at our camp we’ll provide snowshoes and clothing to keep you warm on the trip.

Our guide will talk you through the route and lead you onto an exciting trek into the arctic countryside. The mountains locally offer great views of the surrounding area of Tromsø and Balsford. If the weather is good we’ll enjoy some hot drinks outside and admire the views before heading back to our centre, otherwise, you can relax in our lavvo by the fire when you get back.
